The secret ingredient to one delectable bowl of Homemade Cream of Mushroom Soup? Nutmeg. The spice enhances the overall flavor in many soup recipes including our Minnesota Chicken Noodle Soup. And adding in a pinch of our Indonesian nutmeg is an excellent way to cut down on the salt, without reducing flavor, like we have done in our Garlic & Chives Mashed Potatoes.
