Our Chai Tea Blend is ground into a coarse powder in order to lock in the essential oils of the spices, so the flavor is more potent when extracted for tea. Easy Chai Recipe (1 serving): 1. In a small pot, add in 1 cup of milk, 1/2 cup of water, 1 - 1.5 teaspoons of sugar, and 1 - 1.5 teaspoons of our Chai Tea Blend. 2. Heat on low fire until simmering, then turn fire off, cover the pot, and let steep for 5-10 minutes. 3. Before serving, heat again on low fire to desired drinking temperature (if you have an electric milk frother, use it to foam up and thicken the tea). 4. Finally, strain out the spices while you pour the tea into a mug.
