Curry Powder, Sweet & Spicy

  • Our handcrafted Sweet & Spicy Curry Powder begins with a blend of coriander, turmeric, fenugreek, and cumin – the base spices to create that familiar, but delectable aroma of curry. Then the warming spices are slowly mixed in – cinnamon for its sweetness; ginger for those spicy, lemony notes; fennel to add an element of freshness; and clove for that heavenly, rich fragrance.  As the flavors combine and harmonize, we finally add in the kick -  black pepper, Kashmiri chili powder, and cayenne pepper.  The blend is hot, but not overwhelming.  As with all of our spicy blends, the balance of flavors is most important.

Our Sweet & Spicy Curry Powder is just as versatile as our sweet curry powder, so try the blend in stir fries, soups, noodle or fried rice dishes, creamy salad dressings, deviled eggs, roast potatoes, and of course, in curry dishes. Click on the “Recipes” tab to find out more.

"Thank you! I wanted to tell you that the Sweet & Spicy Curry Powder is my go-to for all my fall soups. I bought three bottles to send to my family in India who tried it during a visit. Great website and I look forward to trying some different spices in the future." -Veena from Edison, NJ
